Flinders Street Wharves Footpath Renewal

GKL Group is proud to be supporting Townsville City Council with the upcoming Flinders Street Wharves Footpath Renewal Project.

As part of this Brown Field Construction initiative, Townsville City Council engaged GKL Group to assist in the development of a comprehensive project brief, tender documentation, and ongoing project management advice. Our role focuses on ensuring a seamless and efficient design process for this important public infrastructure renewal.

The Flinders Street Wharves precinct holds both functional and historical value for the community. Through this project, the aim is to enhance pedestrian access, improve safety, and future-proof this key city corridor.

GKL Group’s experience in brownfield urban upgrades enables us to navigate the challenges that come with working in complex, existing environments.
