Meet Mark Prasser: A Steady Hand in Civil Engineering

A RPEQ and Chartered Engineer, Mark has been part of the GKL Group team for several years, applying his expertise across a broad range of civil construction projects. With deep technical knowledge and an eye for detail, he’s delivered work from both client-side and contractor-side perspectives, making him as comfortable in high-level planning meetings as he is onsite with subcontractors.

Over the years, Mark has been involved in projects ranging from $50 million road upgrades for the Department of Transport and Main Roads through to large-scale civil works exceeding $200 million in value. A highlight of his time with us was his role on the Sea Wall Project for the Port of Townsville Limited, where he provided engineering and verification support throughout a complex delivery phase. His understanding of DTMR and local council requirements, along with his ability to work in live traffic environments and high-restriction areas, gives clients confidence that nothing will be overlooked.

Now based on the Sunshine Coast, Mark continues to deliver high-quality engineering services for our valued clients throughout the region. Whether supporting teams with documentation and QA, leading design coordination, or navigating the practical realities of onsite work, Mark brings a calm, professional presence and a wealth of experience to every job.
