Road Asset Management Contract

The Road Asset Management Contract (RAMC) was introduced in South-East Queensland as a multi-year contract designed to provide a comprehensive approach to asset management and road maintenance services.

Under this contract, the contractor assumes a stewardship role, collaborating closely with the department to maintain the road network's safety, functionality, and sustainability.

The contract's project delivery component focuses on larger-scale programmed maintenance, rehabilitation, and resurfacing of key sections of the road network in South-East Queensland.

GKL Group has taken on the project management of these major initiatives, which includes tasks such as:

• Managing the Contractors thought the works
• Reviewing contract documents including the project program
• Reviewing and advising of traffic management plans and changes throughout the works
• Reviewing community consultation strategies

​The role also involves conducting night-time inspections alongside TMR inspectors and engineers to provide guidance and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
