Road Reconstruction

The 2021 Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) Reconstruction of Essential Public Assets (REPA) works included the repairs of Moncrieff Road. Moncrieff Road was heavily damaged by weather in the 2021 heavy weather event and was required to be repaired to ensure safe and reliable passage to the local residents.

GKL Group were employed by Townsville City Council as to both finalise and manage the design process and manage the works throughout the construction phase. During this time GKL concentrated on stakeholder engagement and quality assurance aspects of the works as well as commercial management and QRA reporting where required.
