Slope Stabilisation Project

Over several wet seasons the drainage and existing batter protection at the Knox Court location became eroded and undermined over time, requiring repair and maintenance to ensure slope stability in the area.
 
GKL Group were engaged by Townsville City Council as both the Project Manager and Contract Superintendent to procure and manage a Design and Construct solution.

GKL worked with all stakeholders including local landowners, designers, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure the project was completed with as little disruption to the local public as possible. The GKL team enjoyed the geotechnical engineering challenges that this type of projects entails, and are proud to have assisted in it timely and successful completion.
