The Strand Jetty

GKL Group were engaged as the Superintendent's Representative for the project and worked to manage the design and construct (D&C) between the principal contractor and the client.

Our role involved managing the process from procuring the design and construct (D&C) contract, through award and design, during construction, and then handing over the delivered project to the Facility and Asset Management Team at Townsville City Council.

Works included:

• Design management
• Removing the existing structure
• Installation of the new structure
• Other supporting works such as lighting, painting and grout repairs
