Collinsville - Elphinstone Road Bridge

As representatives for the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, we were ensuring the interests of the Queensland Government were upheld throughout the delivery of the Collinsville - Elphinstone Road Bridge Project.

The construction of the new road over rail bridge and subsequent road infrastructure required regular management and inspections to check on:

• Safety
• Traffic management
• Quality and methodology

We worked collaboratively as an extension of the Department of Transport and Main Roads – Mackay District conducting inspections, delivering reports and accepting the works once complete.

The project’s location is approximately 2 hour’s drive south of Collinsville or about half an hour’s drive north of Glenden, Northwest of Mackay.
