Peak Downs Highway Re-Alignment

Acting as the representative of Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR), GKL Group assisted with the Peak Downs Highway Re-Alignment project. Ensuring that the travelling public were kept safe and not inconvenienced through the project, the bridge was built off line then once finished the traffic was switched to the new work. 

The section of highway is not too far from Moranbah, Queensland. The role of GKL Group was to review the construction methodology to ensure minimal disruption to the travelling public and to inspect the quality of work, verifying the project at key milestones. ​
