Allambie Lane Upgrade

As the delivery partner for Townsville City Council, our team were involved in the completion of a $3million upgrade to Allambie Lane in the Upper Ross area.

The upgrade project has made the area safer for everyone in the community. Project deliverables included:

• Separation of lanes
• Widening the road
• Installation of hard medians
• Delineated access points for school, PCYC and the shopping centre
• Dedicated turning lanes
• Raised pedestrian crossing
• New and upgraded roadway lighting
• Dedicated bike lanes
• Concrete pathways

As the project duration spanned three school holiday periods and multiple events, deliberate construction methodologies were employed to ensure all stakeholders were taken into consideration for the entirety of the project.
